Ascend is a 90-day AI coaching app. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it's stored. We aim to keep this short and plain — if anything is unclear, email us at ayubabdi26@gmail.com.

• Profile picture — Uploaded by you. Used only to personalize your profile and appear next to your posts in the community.
• Forum posts — Text only. The community does not accept images, audio, or video.
• AI body scan (optional) — You may upload a body image when generating your plan. Scans are deleted immediately after the plan is created — Ascend does not retain them.
• Account and onboarding data — Your email, goals, and baseline answers. Used to generate your plan and adapt it as you complete tasks.

All data is stored on Google Firebase with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is scoped so you can only read and write your own data.

Profile images and user-posted text are reviewed by automated moderation before appearing in the community. Content flagged as abusive, explicit, or otherwise violating community guidelines is removed.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app, or by emailing ayubabdi26@gmail.com.

• Firebase (Google) — storage, authentication, and hosting.
• OpenAI — plan generation. Prompts are sent without your profile image.

Ascend is not directed at children under 13. Accounts belonging to users under 13 will be removed.

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when the policy changes.
